Here we have my mother Evelyn on the right, Christopher in the center and sister Marie on the left. This photo was taken in Philadelphia about 1950. Marie and Chris both use the surname Karcher. My mothers first husband, Christopher F. Karcher died in flu epidemic of 1919. My mother Evelyn married my father Stanley J. Nelson in 1920 and I was born in 1921. |
